A- Z Auto Place is one of the independent dealers in the Houston, Texas Area.

Q- What About Internet Listing?

A- We take much time and dedicate a lot of energy to our listings as should be evident by the usual 20-30+ photo's taken of each vehicle. You are encouraged to give us a call directly to discuss any aspect of the vehicle you are interested on and put a deal together.

Q- Where is Z Auto Place located?

A- We Have Two Location, One At 940 A Hwy 6 South, Houston, Texas 77079 and Second One Located At 14525 Hwy 249, Houston, Texas 77086.

Q- What is the source for your inventory?

A- We have many different sources for the cars and trucks we stock. Vehicles may be purchased at dealer sales, off-lease sales, franchise dealers, or from credit unions and banks. The vehicles we retail are usually late model (1999 and newer) and have good miles and may still be under a factory warranty. We resell cars with clean titles only, this means we never retail salvage, rebuilt, reconstructed, insurance claim, flood or other gray market vehicles unless specifically noted.

Q- Do you have all titles on hand for your vehicles?

A- We do not always have titles on hand for vehicles that are placed for sale, titles may be in transit from banks, from other dealerships, from the state, and a host of other reasons for normal processing delays in title paperwork. We are a licensed and bonded dealer in Texas and guarantee clear titles on all vehicles that we sell.

Q- What 'other' fees are there besides the purchase price?

A- The other fees include taxes, shipping and documentation charges. If you live in Texas, you must pay 6.25% of the sales price of the car as a tax to the state. All buyers are required to pay Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT) tax of .002334% of the purchase price. (The VIT Tax is based on the county in Texas where the dealership is located, Z Auto Place is located in Harris county). There is also a $50 doc fee. for handling paperwork, filing titles, Also, Title Application Fee and Registration Fee (Required By The State), these fees are fixed and non negotiable. If You Live Outside Texas You Don't Have To pay TTL.

Q- What forms of payment do you accept?

A- We accept certified cashier checks drawn on US Banks in US funds. We also accept financing checks from your local bank or credit union, Cash. Ask us about personel checks.

Q- Do you do any financing?

A- Yes, We Also can work with your bank or finance company to arrange financing for you. We are also happy to work with your local bank or credit union to get the paperwork processed and your deal financed. In most cases it takes less than a day to get the paperwork finished.

Q- Do You Have In House Financing?

A- We do on some units, It all depends on your situation

Q- I live out of state, but want to fly in and drive my new car back home.

A- Great! We have done this many times. Please make arrangement to fly into Houston Hobby airport. If you let us know in advance, we can arrange to have the paperwork completed and arrange to have you picked up at the airport.

Q- What about extended warranties?

A- We Do Sell extended warranty service.

Q- What type of service do you do to the cars before selling them?

A- All cars are professionally cleaned before sale. If there are any mechanical issues noted during inspection, they are addressed before the car is sold. Any issues that we elect not to fix are disclosed in full in our listing.

Q- How do I know the car is in the condition stated?

A- We are experts in the auto business and have personally inspected Hundred of vehicles. We do our best to point out the shortcomings in the cars and trucks that we sell. If you are interested in an extended warranty for your new car or truck purchase, please Let Us Know.
